Adhesive PR turns one with Spotify onboard

Independent public relations agency Adhesive PR has announced three new clients including Spotify as the business celebrates its first birthday.

Adhesive has been charged with managing the music streaming service’s media relations, including consumer, business and trade, as well as ideas generation, social media and stakeholder relations.

The duties cover Spotify’s Australia and New Zealand operations.

The agency has also won work for Unilever’s Lynx brand and Jim Beam.

Adhesive worked on Jim Beam’s ‘Make History’ campaign, created by The Works Sydney.

The $10m plus campaign saw Sydney’s Bondi Icebergs swimming pool turned into a giant cooler full of super-sized Jim Beam cans.

Adhesive was appointed to the campaign following a pitch and is now managing media relations, event management and strategic media partnerships for a year.

The agency was also added to Lynx’s agency roster to handle media relations, issues management and experiential. Adhesive’s work with Lynx started in March with the local launch for the brand’s new variant, Apollo.
