Global music company providing tracks to the advertising and media production industry is looking for a stellar marketing all-rounder to help further build their brand and support sales activity across APAC.
Liaising with the marketing team based in the London HQ and the APAC management team in Sydney, you will be responsible for all regional traditional and digital marketing activities from idea to execution.
Via strategic communication plans, PR, partnerships, events, and digital channels and campaigns you will create brand presence in new markets and customer segments, extending the company’s overall regional reach and engagement.
The ideal candidate will be quite strategic and creative, but also be able to work very autonomously and not be afraid to get their hands dirty when needed with the small tasks. Above all you will be music-minded and come from a strong B2B marketing background within the advertising or media space.
-Create and execute a regional marketing plan which both supports sales objectives and generates brand awareness within key industries in APAC – TV, Advertising, Production, Digital Media and Content
-Manage a budget and forecasts, as well as deliver ROI reporting on key activities
-Localise digital marketing strategy and campaigns – eDMs, playlists, content pieces, social, etc which are relevant and engaging for the region
-Review data sources, CRM, digital/web stats and traffic to identify and extract commercial insights for the business
-Develop key partnerships and proactively seek out new stakeholders to work with to increase brand equity – industry bodies, festivals, conferences, and media/press
-Execute both company hosted and company sponsored events which are aligned with the brand
-Ensure brand guidelines and review/revise all regional marketing and sales collateral, liaising with local suppliers and designers to deliver on creative design concepts and briefs
-Rollout of music marketing strategies and commercial releases with local artists and PR/press partners
-4-5 years minimum B2B traditional and digital marketing experience coming from a background in music, creative, media or advertising
-Experience managing a budget and working independently
-APAC/Asia regional marketing experience preferred but not essential
-Eye for creative design and visuals, with basic design/Adobe suite skills being a bonus
-Extremely organised and able to multi-task
-Strong communication skills and ability to build social and professional relationships
-Hybrid team-player and autonomous contributor, as the sole marketing person for APAC you will be able to effectively communicate with international team members (often on after hours calls and with some travel included), but also manage your work independently
