As business continues to boom in Australia, we are looking for an experienced and savvy Research Director to head up their Sydney division. With national account and support structures in place, you’ll take charge managing an existing portfolio of accounts, spotting new business opportunities and delivering brilliant insight.
We’re looking for a senior strategic deliverer who gets the issues from a commercial lens and can deliver clear spring-boarded style outcomes for their clients. We need someone who can help the business win proposals, craft and land the killer 1 pagers and bring brand and communications to the forefront of clients thinking.
We need a brand and comms expert, someone who can enthral clients, can talk the strategic brand talk and walk the marketing tools walk; someone who is innately curious who gets and enjoys research. The work is a mix of brand tracking and ad-hoc (quant and qual) projects covering communications strategy, creative testing, claims testing and product and service innovation. Hence, we need a strong mixed methods researcher or a quant researcher that understand and appreciates other data sources. Clients span fmcg, retail, travel and tourism, universities and social and government, with complete backing to carve out any new clients as you see fit.
This presents an opportunity to build out the Sydney business with the autonomy to make your own decisions. As part of the senior leadership team you’ll work closely with the MD driving client, commercial, people and business strategies.
