Digital Media Analyst

In this role you will be responsible for the tagging and analysis of digital media and delivering actionable data-driven insights into Deakin’s digital media performance.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time (36.75 hours per week) and continuing
LOCATION: Melbourne Burwood Campus

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for the tagging and analysis of digital media and delivering actionable data-driven insights into Deakin’s digital media performance.

This will include:

  • Coordinating best practice conversion tagging: creating tags on key conversion events to enable best-practice media optimisation and reporting.
  • Building and improving analytics dashboards that combine on site behaviour and digital media metrics to track program performance.
  • Coordinating audience creation, testing and optimisation: creating audiences from a data management platform and supporting an activation, testing and optimisation plan.
  • Leading and tracking cross-channel media performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and A/B testing.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in a relevant discipline plus relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Relevant experience working in digital insights, digital media, digital campaign analysis or similar role.
  • Experience across a range of analytics platforms and media consoles such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adwords, Adthena, Omniture Suite and Webtrends.
  • Understanding of the digital media landscape and analytics requirements in order to deliver best-practice digital performance tracking.
