Opportunity to join a leading financial services company in the Norwest Business Park and strategically craft and roll-out all content plans across multiple sub-brands and products.
Working with an external agency, a copywriter and the wider communications and marketing teams; you will develop, implement and integrate strategic content across all marketing channels which ultimately support lead generation, conversion and SEO activities.
This role will give you the opportunity to take ownership and collaborate with multiple project teams, thus initiative and stakeholder management capabilities are essential.
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop a content strategy aligned with short and long-term marketing goals
-Develop an editorial calendar based on audience needs with the internal copywriter
-Work with Digital Performance managers to identify channel needs and deliver appropriate content using internal and external resources
-Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention and ensuring business stays ahead of industry and competitor and optimises for current and future technology
-Ensure test and learn and continuous improvement programmes are implemented across all activity with clear, measurable results and value-add learnings
-Reduce reliance on third party agencies and suppliers by growing an internal content management program
-Manage a copywriter team member’s work load and professional growth
-5+ years experience in digital content strategy and management (financial industry knowledge, a plus)
-Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
-Ability to analyse and present effectiveness of content
-Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
-Experience and understanding of digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, Email, Social Media and Content Syndication tools (e.g. Outbrain)
-Proven highly developed people management skills combined with the ability to build and manage high performance teams.
-Proven negotiation and relationship development experience and able to manage stakeholders.
-Experience with data analytics, insights development and reporting.
-Strong commercial and business acumen.
-Creative strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach
-Must be willing to office location in Norwest Business Park
