Business Development Manager – Mobile

Leader in the mobile data-driven solutions space, with a strong and expanding global track record is looking for a Digital Sales gun.

This role will be a mix of new business development as well as agency and client direct account management across APAC, and requires a good knowledge of the local digital and mobile advertising landscape.

The ideal candidate will have come from digital publisher sales and has a strong agency network, as well as very successful track record of agency brief response and pitches!


• Segment and map out the market, creating a BD strategy and pipeline with weekly/monthly updates and reporting.

• Develop new business opportunities with direct advertisers or agencies, upsell and cross selling products and services to current clients to reach monthly targets

• Understand how to engage agencies specifically, get buy-in, ask questions to get the proper brief and then tailor solutions according to briefs

• Promote the business brand at events, conferences and generally indulge in the digital marketing community to evangelise the business offering/service

• Manage all pre & post sales activities including; pitching, presentations, deal negotiations, mapping out client objectives and managing the hand-over to the internal stakeholders, as well as reporting back analytics to clients.

• Understand client and market needs and thus communicating back to the business management to adjust product and solutions offering


• 1-3+ years in advertising/media/digital/mobile marketing sales – with experience selling to agencies specifically

• End-to-end sales cycle experience from pitching to invoicing

• Entrepreneurial approach to business development with strong knowledge and rolodex of the Australian media market – networks to leverage.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, confident and good at building relations.

• Proficient in Microsoft office and preferably Salesforce, knowledge of ad serving platforms and tools a plus.

• Passion for digital and growing your experience specifically in mobile and a positive, solution focused attitude

• Desire to add value to the culture

• Good listening and questioning skills with strong interpretation and negotiation skills

• Self-starter, problem-solver, strong work ethic with tenacious track record
