The Neverfail Story

As part of the larger Coca Cola Amatil (CCA) family, Neverfail Spring Water has over 80,000 customers serviced by 130 independently owned local distributors and contractors. Neverfail Spring Water is a great Australian success story. The business was created in 1987 by a Sydney based entrepreneur called Harry Hilliam and his family.  They lived on the Hawkesbury River and had a natural spring water source on his property called Neverfail as it “never failed to produce water, no matter how dry it got”. At that time nobody was selling bulk bottle water directly to customers. Harry decided to give it a go and started delivering water from the back of his ute.

As Australia’s #1 spring water cooler business, Neverfail continues to grow and has significant opportunities to expand. As a result, an exciting new opportunity has become available to join the Neverfail Marketing team.  Neverfail is on a transformational journey. To support new growth whilst re-shaping and building the brand as a key driver, we are seeking an experienced Brand Manager to join the team.

 

 

The Opportunity

The Neverfail marketing calendar is jam-packed with exciting new initiatives, and we are on the look-out for a Brand superstar to support our team to deliver against key objectives. This is a unique, newly created Brand Manager role that will provide your autonomy, ownership and variety!

 

Reporting to the National Marketing Manager – Direct To Consumer (DTC) you will maximise the potential of our brands by developing strategic brand plans (B2C and B2B segments). You will manage end to end NPD process, manage innovation pipelines, develop brand communications, brand activations, ATL / BTL campaigns, content creation for website/ publications, manage budgets, sponsorship programs/ relationships, project management and provide market insights.

 

Its an exciting role that will provide the right candidate opportunity to get involved in many facets or the marketing lifecycle, with a key focus on identifying and driving growth opportunities and increasing customer loyalty.

What you’ll need to succeed

Your ability to get things done, within a matrix environment will set you up for success. As a highly innovative, results driven, strategic brand professional your ability to react quickly, drive implementation of multiple initiatives and identify opportunities will see you successfully evolving our brand in a highly competitive market.

 

You will have experience working closely with stakeholders as well as agency partners to manage the development of marketing material to execute long and short-term brand plans.  As an uber-organized individual, you will also be comfortable multitasking and managing multiple projects amongst your day to day duties. The role would suit a self – starter who is looking for an environment where they can just get involved and be part of the change! In addition, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

 

  • Sound understanding of marketing principles. Tertiary qualification in Marketing/ Business is required.
  • 5 years+ experience in a similar, brand development role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to support, interact and influence outcomes with a range of stakeholders (Internal & External)
  • Highly developed project management skills
  • Proficient with Adobe InDesign and Adobe PhotoShop (not essential but an advantage).
  • A team based approach to success. Your duties will be vital to total team success through reporting, fielding internal and external marketing enquiries as well as project delivery.
