Associate Media Buyer (Part-time; 3 days a week)

We are looking for a smart, energetic, data-driven media buying expert to help manage our TV investment. As the Associate Media Buyer you will report into the Media Operations Team and will be responsible for the support of TV media buying, analysis and optimization in ANZ. You will play a key role in helping to optimize and grow our Brand TV investment.


  • Assist Media Marketing Manager in all aspects of media buying & execution of TV campaigns. This includes, but is not limited to, analyzing TV performance data, making recommendations for media buys, and where needed, negotiating the buy
  • Work closely with our media agency to deploy highly impactful and effective campaigns
  • Partner with internal analytics team to interpret performance data and apply to TV strategies, channel performance and regularly optimize media buys
  • Develop, maintain and evolve weekly TV performance reporting and provide insightful commentary
  • Manage TV spend invoicing on time and to budget
  • Drive innovation in TV measurement technology and assist with “test & learn” initiatives
  • Manage data flow with agencies/networks ensuring all data is uploaded quickly and accurately.

  • Proficient in Excel, Tableau & PowerPoint

Experience and Qualification:

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or Mathematics
  • 2+ years of experience in either a media or analytics industry
  • Knowledge of media metrics and principals is a mandatory
  • Experience in data modeling and working knowledge of SQL is a bonus
  • Experience in travel, retail or finance industries is desired
