Your primary role will be to help strategically build and service a client portfolio and take our products and services to market on a national basis.

As an Account Manager, you are the face and voice at the very forefront of the business, whereby you will be working very closely with business directors, strategists, project managers, campaign managers and web-teams to actively service the communications between GMG and our small to medium sized accounts.

Responsibilities:

– Manage a portfolio of tier two and tier three clients.

– Developing meaningful business relationships at all levels within the businesses you work with.

– Provide strategic support to your clients by understanding and interpreting their business needs and objectives.

– Help manage internal resources to ensure client requirements are met on time and above expectation.

– Work closely with the sales and strategy teams to help identify strategic opportunities.

– Increase multi-service penetration within your client portfolio.

– Develop and prepare proposals.

Skills/Attributes/Experience

To be successful in this role you should be a proactive, account service professional with experience and skills that match the following:

– Minimum 2 years in digital marketing.

– Minimum 2 years agency side as an Account Manager.

– Understanding of digital services such as SEO, SEM, Display, CRO.

– A willingness to learn

– Strong problem solving skills, strategic mind and business acumen.

– High Energy

– Resilient

– Be a super organised person

– Love Face to Face and Phone Time with Clients

– Sound understanding of digital marketing technologies.

– Be a real team player.

– Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to effectively manage time and budgets.

– A high level of written and verbal communications skills.

– A dedicated work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for project delivery.

– Tertiary qualifications in marketing (this is a nice to have and not compulsory).
