History Will Be Kind Unveils Raft Of New Business Wins

Building on a cracking start to 2018, including key award nominations and strong team growth, History Will Be Kind (HWBK) has expanded its remit across a number of key clients, including Google, YouTube, Randstad Australia and Upside Realty (Upside).

Following a raft of successful projects in 2017, HWBK will work with Google and YouTube as a retained partner, to drive best in class communications programmes. The team will also extend its partnership with recruitment specialists, Randstad, to manage all integrated communications activity, including strategy, social media, PR execution and content marketing.

In the property space, the agency has ramped up activity with Upside, a new full-service digital real estate agency, to launch the brand into the highly competitive Sydney market.

Head of communications at Randstad ANZ, Charlie Stack, said HWBK is the ideal partner, bringing together the pace and agility of a startup with the capabilities and thinking of a big agency.

“After strong performance across PR and social activities last year, Randstad is pleased to cement the relationship with HWBK as a key agency partner for our integrated communications. We are now working with the team to engage our audiences across channels, putting in place a truly integrated approach across PR, content and social that only an agency like HWBK can deliver.”

Director of marketing and communications at Upside, Genevieve Brock, said the partnership with HWBK will help the disruptive startup redefine the traditional real estate model in Australia’s most competitive housing market.

“After an effective soft launch in Melbourne, we’re excited to partner with HWBK to establish Upside’s unique and highly successful flat-fee business model in Sydney.”

Emma-Jane (EJ) Granleese, managing partner and founder of HWBK, said the expansion of client remits is testament to the team’s tenacity and drive.

“2017 was an incredible year for HWBK, working with a stellar line up of client partners and growing the team across disciplines and sectors.  Over the last 6 weeks, we’ve kicked off 2018 with a bang and are honoured to be making history with organisations that are so collaborative, nimble, customer-centric, and driven to create great work.”

HWBK is proudly part of a five-agency collective, the Deepend Group, an independent, digital communications and innovation consultancy group. The portfolio includes Deepend (Digital), How To Impact (Innovation), Nomad (Emerging Tech), History Will Be Kind (Communications) and VERSA (Australia’s first enterprise level Voice Experience agency) delivered in partnership with RAIN.
