New Zealand Police Force Releases Bonkers Recruitment Ad

Their national airline may have found world fame with its crazy ads and safety instruction videos, and now New Zealand’s police force has unveiled a nutty advertising campaign designed to find its next set of loyal recruits.

The ad’s designed to show all the different facets of police work and is aimed at trying to recruit from New Zealand’s multicultural population.

More than 70 actual police officers put their hands up to be involved in the two-and-a-half minute clip including new recruits and the boss of police himself, Mike Bush.

The campaign will run on TV, cinemas, on-demand out of home. Check out the frivolity below:

Karen Jones, deputy chief executive of public affairs, said of the campaign: “We want to attract people who bring their own skill set, like problem solving and working in a team, and who are fit, or prepared to get fit,” said Karen Jones, deputy chief executive of public affairs.

“There are more than 30 different career paths within NZ police and it was really important to demonstrate the range of options for people who may be considering joining us. Most importantly we want people who care about making our communities safe,” Jones said.
