Kim Kardashian Slammed For Diet Ad: “No, You Can F*ck Off”

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is facing online backlash after spruiking an ‘appetite suppressant’ lollipop on her Instagram account.

The post, which has already garnered more than 1.3 million likes, said, “You guys… @flattummyco just dropped a new product. They’re Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they’re literally unreal. They’re giving the first 500 people on their website 15% OFF so if you want to get your hands on some… you need to do it quick! #suckit“.

Now, Kardashian has been called a “toxic influence” for girls and women by ex-Radio 1 presenter Jameela Jamil.

“Maybe don’t take appetite suppressors and eat enough to fuel your brain and work hard and be successful,” Jameela wrote on Twitter.

“And to have something to say about your life at the end, other than ‘I had a flat stomach’.”

Jamil, a renowned body-positive activist, continued her criticism of Kardashian with this follow-up Tweet.

While the website for the Flat Tummy Co lollipops claims to target people with food cravings, the site adds the disclaimer, “These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.”

This is the second time this month Kardashian has found herself making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Just two weeks ago, fashion powerhouses Jean-Paul Jean Paul Gaultier and the estate of Schiaparelli accused the star of ripping off the shape of their perfume bottles.

Speaking about the bottle, Kardashian openly said in an interview, “I love the Jean Paul Gaultier bottle and I totally get the reference. And I knew people would say that, but I just love [my perfume bottle] so much…I thought it was just really fitting for me, personally.”

Adding, “I feel like I’m in the best shape that I’ve ever been in…So even though I didn’t prep specifically for this shoot, it paid off. If this had been a year ago, I wouldn’t have felt this comfortable doing it.”

Critics were quick to accuse Kardashian of copyright, drawing parallels between Gaultier’s 1993 fragrance, which was inspired by Schiaparelli 1937 scent.
