Fashion Brand H&M Teams With Baz Luhrmann For Epic Four-minute Masterpiece

You’d hardly expect Aussie director Baz Luhrmann to do anything by halves and, yet again, he’s delivered in spades for a gorgeous, lush short film for youth fashion brand H&M and its new collaboration with fashionista brand Erdem.

The four-minute ad, called “The Secret Life Of Flowers”, is as exquisite as it is preposterous and follows beautiful bright young things around a wonderfully dilapidated British mansion.

Words can’t really do it justice, so best check it out for yourself below:

Luhrmann, famous for films the calibre of Strictly Ballroom, Australia, Moulin Rouge! and The Great Gatsby, said of his collaboration with H&M: “I wanted the film to be like a whole movie. It’s a very modern love story, set in a country house that is full of its own secrets, and it’s like a metaphor for our times – it’s harsh out there in the world, but in here, the things that really matter keep growing in an eternal spring.”
