Suncorp says switch with dough

Queensland-based bank Suncorp has launched a new campaign to promote its home lending project.

The campaign was created by George Patterson Y&R Brisbane and London-based Trunk Animation.

The 15-second TVC shows a claymation style animation in CGI with two clay-like modelled characters, the bank manager and the client.

The ad aims to communicate the bank’s offer of giving customers their own home loan specialist and a special low 7.05% pa rate. The strapline encourages customer to switch banks by saying, “It’s worth the switch”.

The ad comes one week after NAB controversially released its ‘break up’ campaign, in which it seeks to differentiate itself from the other big banks.
