What’s the Big Idea?
We could never claim to be a first mover in the field of blogging, but we do recognise the indelible mark blogs and bloggers are making on global communications. Blogging has moved from the bedrooms of teenagers to the boardrooms of some of the world's biggest companies. As blogging hits the mainstream the B&T team is writing a lot more about not just blogging but the rise of “citizen journalism” and the impressive arsenal of new communications tools which are helping to define the next wave of online commerce, communications and marketing. We therefore thought we should practice what we preach, hence the Big Idea, B&T’s blog is born. Here we hope to initiate a dialogue with our readers across media, marketing, advertising and in particular new media. We encourage you to participate by commenting on the blog entries and sharing your own ‘big ideas’. We hope the blog will be thought provoking, stimulating, perhaps a little contentious and above all a bloody good read.
Commenting
To add your comments to a blog posting click on the comment button at the bottom of the post. This will take you to the comments page where you can read what others have written and you can add your own comments along with your name.
Removing offensive comments
If you find an offensive comment on the blog, whether it be obscene language, is unnecessarily critical of yours or anyone else’s company, is personally defamatory of hurtful, or is otherwise unacceptable you can report it here. You will need to provide a reason why you think the comment ought to be removed and if valid we will endeavor to immediately remove the offending comment. Just disagreeing with a comment is not sufficient reason to have it removed. In fact if you disagree with a comment the best way to counter it is to post yourself and contribute to the dialogue.
Disclaimer
The editorial posts and comments contained on the B&T blog do not necessarily reflect the views of B&T or Reed Business Information. If you are offended or concerned about any material contained on these pages, we have provided a robust mechanism for the removal of such material.
