This year’s B&T Awards have closed with a record number of entries.
The huge response to the revamped awards process meant that as B&T went to press the tally of entries had not been finalised, although administrators had already logged over 240 entries from agencies, marketers and media owners throughout Australia and New Zealand. The awards, which include a rigorous, two-round judging process and major awards ceremony, now include 20 different categories covering the whole marketing, advertising and media spectrum.
Among the most tightly contested categories will be Young Achiever of the Year, which saw the most entries, closely followed by the Best Ad Campaign, Interactive Agency of the Year and State Agency of the Year categories.
Shortlists will be announced on Friday, October 26, with finalists in relevant categories presenting to the awards jury on November 16.
The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of Friday, December 7 in Sydney.
