Seven ups stake in WAN
The Seven Network has upped its stake in West Australian Newspapers even further, closing in on the point where a takeover would be triggered.
The broadcaster has increased its stake from 17.3% to 19.4%, just half a per cent away from the 19.9% takeover trigger.
Seven took a 14.9% stake in WAN last October ahead of changes in media ownership laws.
It now has 40,502,666 ordinary shares in WAN.
