McCann Melbourne has appointed Nick Weller and Phil can Bruchem as joint creative directors of the agency.
The duo have taken on the role following the departure of Vince McSweeney, who was recently appointed creative director of McCann Sydney.
Andrew Crook, head of art at McCann Melbourne, has filled in the creative director role on an interim basis.
Weller and van Bruchem have been a creative team for the past 10 years, which each having 15 years of experience at ad agencies.
The most recently worked at JWT, with a previous stint at CHE. They have worked on brands including Ford, Vegemite, Nestle and Honda.
James Graham, managing director of McCann Melbourne, said: “Aside from being incredibly gifted, Nick and Phil are also great guys.
“Their attitude towards the work and collaborative nature make them the perfect pair to lead the agency creatively. I’m really looking forward to working with them.”
