Breaking campaign: Panasonic promotes storage with big screen birth

Panasonic is promoting its SD storage card with a new campaign showing a couple suffering an embarrassing situation in an electronics store.

The SD card can be used across Panasonic’s range of LUMIX cameras or camcorders and can inserted directly into its range of VIERA TVs, DVD and Blu-ray recorders for playback or permanent storage.

In the ad, called Big Screen Birth, a couple with a young baby visit the store to buy a big screen TV. An overly-helpful assistant puts their SD card from their camera into a plasma TV, with the result of a video of the mother giving birth making its way onto the TV and all the others in the store.

The campaign breaks tomorrow.
