 MEDIA PLANNING & BUYING
Mediacom goes for prestige
James Livesley

Mediacom has set up a new unit within the agency to handle high-end clients called the Prestige Business Unit, to be headed by new group business director Dymphna James.

The foundation clients of the new unit will be David Jones and Audi.

James was most recently national sales director at Time Inc Magazines where she worked closely with premium category clients, and was involved in the sale to Seven’s Pacific Magazines.

She was also a director of the Border Morning Mail and involved in its sales to Fairfax last year. James will adopt a dual role and will also be investment manager for print at Mediacom.

She will start at Mediacom on November 20.
