JCDecaux has launched its first Australian ‘scent’ campaign for Fonterra Connoisseur Yoghurt.
The JCDecaux scent boards have been placed in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to give consumers a chance to interact with the panels via a button which triggers a vanilla bean scent emission.
The campaign aims to inform consumers that Connoisseur Yoghurt is “Heaven Scent”, hence the use of scented panels.
Conoisseur approached JCDecaux with the idea to feature scented panels as part of the overall JCDecaux campaign. The outdoor company’s Innovate division then went about designing the new technology to enable scent to be emitted from the panels.
“We wanted to find a medium where we could engage our consumers and indulge their senses in a way that the Connoisseur brand inspires and the scented panels are a fun and unique way of achieving this,” said Tracey Hutson, senior brand manager for Connoisseur Yoghurt.
