PEUGEOT Automobiles Australia has appointed Brandhouse Arnold Worldwide as its new agency in Australia after a review that followed a split with its former agency The Moult Agency.
Peugeot Automobiles Australia managing director Rob Dommerson said the combination of the Brandhouse’s international connection with the Havas network—which handles Peugeot in other markets—and the agencies ‘ambitious plans’ for its Sydney office led to the appointment.
The agency’s moves to grow its Sydney office have included the recent appointment of Jay Furby who officially took over the creative director role there this week.
The appointment will be effective from 1st June, 2004.
Peugeot and The Moult agency announced in March that they were parting ways after two years.
In a joint statement both the agency and Peugeot said they had “mutually decided” to split.
At the time Peugeot’s managing director Rob Dommerson said it had been a “challenging” two years for the brand in Australia.
