Jacob’s Creek reviews ad account

Pernod Ricard has put its Jacob’s Creek advertising account up for review, with two agencies pitted against Clemenger BBDO Adelaide for the business.

The review is being co-ordinated by Colin Wilson Brown, principal of The Clinic, who confirmed that DDB and Saatchi & Saatchi are also pitching for the account. A decision is expected to be made in March following final presentations in February next year.

The account has previously been handled out of its Adelaide office, but it’s expected the work would move to Sydney should Clemenger retain the account. The Sydney and Adelaide offices of the agency are pitching together for the business.

The wine brand is looking for an agency to fulfil its ambitions to have more impact globally, although the brand is already successful in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and Asia.
