News Digital Media moves into integration

 
News Digital Media has hired its first head of integrated sales to capitalise on a demand from advertisers for cross-platform promotions.

Former commercial development manager at Fairfax Media in Sydney, Martin Curnow, has been named as head of integrated sales at News Digital and will be responsible for bringing together News Limited sales teams in print, magazines and subscription TV.

He will report to News Digital Media’s national sales director, Paul Fisher, and has been tasked with implementing systems and processes to integrated sales teams across the company.

“An increasing number of clients seek to understand the benefits and opportunities of integration and cross-platform advertising,” said Fisher.

“News Digital Media is committed to utilising its massive range of media assets and integration opportunities with News Limited and News Magazines. Martin’s appointment to oversee this reflects our commitment.”

While at Fairfax, Curnow was responsible for the strategic planning, selling and integration of advertising sales projects across Fairfax’s print, magazine and digital assets.
