Brisbane agency De Pasquale has hired the former deputy creative director at M&C Saatchi Singapore to head its creative department.
Bevan Lewis becomes CD at De Pasquale, taking over from CEO Cos Luccitti, who has been filling dual roles since taking over as head of the agency five months ago.
As well as his stint in Singapore, Lewis has held positions as CD with JWT in both East and South Africa, and more recently Leo Burnett and EuroRSCG in South-East Asia.
"Bevan's talent, fierce competitiveness and global experience will certainly make an impact in the Brisbane market,” said Luccitti
In addition to the Lewis appointment, De Pasquale has also hired senior art director Lars Vester as its new head of art.
Vester, who will be a senior partner with Lewis, joins the agency after spending time with George Patterson Y&R in Brisbane Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne.
"Lars is a remarkable conceptual art director with a brilliant focus on his craft. He and Bevan will make a formidable team and add to our already impressive creative department. Expect big things from them all in the coming months, Luccitti added.
Luccitti continued: “I can now devote all my time on pushing this business to a whole new level. I’ve made some significant organisational and people changes over the last few months, but we are now through the storm. I’ve got some of the best thinkers in the country around me now.”
