 PEOPLE ON THE MOVE
Spin growth attracts more staff

Spin Melbourne has made some new appointments to its growing digital and communications teams.

Mat Medcalf has moved from Sydney to head up the Melbourne team in his role of head of communications.

He previously spent four years at Spin Sydney, then moved across to Naked for one year before heading back to Spin and taking up this new position. He will be working across all clients in addition to driving new business strategy.

Nigel Ewart has been appointed executive producer to run the digital studio and drive client strategy. He previously headed up the digital team at Euro RSCG KLP across a number of accounts including Smirnoff, Microsoft, and Nokia.

Paul Wilson also joins the digital team as senior producer and he will be working with Ewart. Previously, Wilson worked at Citrus as an account manager, overseeing clients including Foster’s, STA Travel, and Tourism Queensland.
