Free beer for Swans’ fans

Carlton Draught is giving away free beer in Sydney tomorrow.

The promotion, which has been organised to coincide with the Sydney Swans’ victory parade through the city, will see a limited quantity of free beer served at three Sydney pubs—The Orient Hotel, Bar 333 and The Brooklyn Hotel.

Carlton Draught, who is a sponsor of the Swans, will also be producing a limited edition “Sydney Swans—Premiers 2005” beer can, which will be available from liquor outlets from tomorrow.

Communications manager for Foster’s Australia, the owners of Carlton Draught, Liz O’Neill, said the company was running the promotion to help Sydney celebrate the Swans’ victory.

“It’s a great fun day, and a day of celebration,” she said.

“And we want to support the Swan’s in their celebrations.”
