Australia’s creatives are again being called upon to use their artistic talents to support a good cause.
The B&T Annual Art Auction to raise funds for the Lighthouse Foundation is coming up soon and organisers are asking for donations from the ad industry of original artwork—paintings, sculptures, photography—to be auctioned off.
Apart from raising money for the Foundation which provides long-term care to homeless kids the auction gives creatives the chance to get their work in front of some of Melbourne’s most creative minds.
This year’s auction will be held at the Cherry Tree Bar in Richmond Melbourne on October 17 with Mick Molloy as the master of ceremonies.
The event will include the awarding of a people’s choice award voted on by the people attending. The award has been donated by Ron Mather.
Art work must be received before October 14. For more information call Kelly Addis on 9804 8866 or email mailto:kelly@boilerroom.com.au
