Breaking campaign: Campaign Palace and RSVP introduce “Tradie for a Lady”

With investment bankers not the catch they used to be, the timeless appeal of a man with tools and hard hat is well and truly back.

It is also the theme of the latest push for dating site RSVP, which has launched a search for the country’s hottest tradesman through its community site ‘Tradie for a Lady’.

The online campaign features simple step-by-step lessons to meeting a tradesman. To snare the plumber for instance, RSVP suggests ladies flush a bag of cement down the loo then be suitably attired when said plumber arrives. Similar strategies are suggested for those looking to hook up with the pool man and the mechanic.

It is The Campaign Palace’s first work for RSVP and will be supported with radio ads in January and the promotion will culminate in a media event in February, with the top tradesman being flown to Sydney to partake in the official crowning of ‘Australia’s Hottest Tradie’.
