CUB unveils new look for VB

CARLTON United Beverages will next week unveil the new advertising campaign for its flagship Victoria Bitter brand—and it’s understood to include a change of its signature green logo.

VB’s rostered advertising agency George Patterson Partners Melbourne have been working over the past six months to develop the new campaign.

A source close to CUB said the green branding of one of Australia’s most recognised and long-standing beer brands will be changed to refresh the brand.

CUB won’t offer any comment on the campaign ahead of the press call in Melbourne next Tuesday where all will be revealed.

The VB brand is still very much remembered by its now iconic campaign featuring a voice over by the later Australian actor John Meillion and its tagline, “A hard-earned thirst needs a big cold beer”.
