London, Paris, New York…and the Gold Coast. American fashion house Ralph Lauren is about to launch its first Home Gallery store in Australia to service the Asia-Pacific region.
The Gold Coast Ralph Lauren Home Gallery store will sell a wide range of home furniture and furnishings including sofas, dining tables, lighting, paint, wall coverings, bedding and trimmings.
The launch on December 15 will be hosted by Gold Coast mayor Ron Clarke and Australian model Candice Lake—the international face of Ralph Lauren Home Gallery, which also has stores in London, Paris and New York.
A Ralph Lauren spokesperson said the launch followed two years of planning. It’s being supported by a “PR only publicity campaign”, as well as direct marketing.
“This is a very low-key campaign, very underground style—there are no bells or whistles in keeping with the style and top-end products of Ralph Lauren,” she said.
