 BREAKING CAMPAIGNS
Optus
Sally Robertson

M&C Saatchi has created a new campaign for Optus to highlight the telco’s involvement as the official partner of the Australian Open – as well as its commitment to supporting the development of Australia’s up and coming tennis stars.

The continuation of Optus’ animal theme sees oversized humans dwarfing elephants, with the tagline “We’re helping Australian tennis grow”.

The outdoor, TV, online and print campaign continues on from Optus’ previous campaign, “Supporting Australian tennis every way we can”.

Demonstrations of 3G mobiles using Optus Zoo will also take place on site at the Australian Open to complement the campaign.

Optus Zoo also has a website featuring news about the Australian Open so fans can keep up-to-date with all the action at the Open regardless of where they are.

Optus is also holding the third annual Optus ‘Yes’ Day at the Australian Open on Friday 19 January with giveaways for the general public. Live band Taxi Ride will be playing on the day and ‘Optus Totem Tennis’ will be available to would be tennis players.
