Thank God You're Here podcasts a hit

Network Ten’s hit comedy Thank God You're Here appears to be enjoying as much success on online with its podcasts as it is on TV.

In the past three weeks, selected free clips from the show's second series, sponsored by Hungry Jack's, have been viewed more than 200,000 times over the internet and via portable devices.

The podcasts of the clips have been the number one-rated download from Apple's Australian iTunes podcasting service since the week commencing September 25.

Also, more than 150,000 people have viewed streaming video, while the clips have been downloaded over 50,000 times. Additionally, Ten is making the clips freely available through YouTube.

Ten general manager, digital media, Damian Smith, indicated that the network’s new digital

media business would be offering significantly more video experiences for users over the coming 12 months.
