American advertising columnist, critic and TV pundit, Bob Garfield will deliver the keynote address at this year’s Australian Direct Marketing Association Forum.
His weekly ‘Ad review’ in Advertising Age is revered by the US creative industry, and his appearances on US television networks, writings in newspapers and international trade press have established his credentials as a pre-eminent expert on advertising.
Garfield’s speech to the ADMA Forum, which runs in Sydney from 27 to 29 June, is entitled ‘Chaos 2.0: The post-adverting age?’
The three-day conference will cover subjects such as multi-channel marketing, business to business marketing, building lasting relationship and developing impactful campaigning ideas.
Also on the bill is Ross Honeywill, managing director of the Neo Group. The consumer behaviourist and best selling author will speak about the “consumer breakthrough in direct marketing”.
Others speakers include Richard Kimber, regional managing director, South Asia at Google, Katy Raines, director of Dixon Raines, Blair Cooke from Fairfax Digital and Simon Van Wyk, managing director of Hothouse.
The ADMA Forum, which is sponsored by Australia Post and Blue Freeway, will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in darling Harbour.
