 BREAKING CAMPAIGNS
Hear and Say Centre for Deaf Children

McCann Erickson has released a new 60-sec TVC for Brisbane’s Hear and Say Centre for Deaf Children, which will be screened throughout Queensland from early December.

The CSA spot features seven young deaf children demonstrating the work done by Hear and Say by listening to, and eventually commenting on the song What Sound by British band Lamb.

Real deaf children were used in the ad—they can now lead relatively normal lives and listen and speak thanks to the centre’s work.

The ad will screen in conjunction with a viral email campaign which additionally asks for donations to help the charity centre continue its work.

Creative director and copywriter Rem Bruijn, art director Lance Gay, agency producer Marnie Farrow, production Zoom Film and Television, director Gerard Lambkin, producer Keri Grant, post production and sound Cutting Edge Post, editor Matt Bennett, online Antony Newton (Cutting Edge Post), music Lamb.
