Smart Melbourne has secured two new clients, winning the creative business for jewellery brand Bevilles and surfing label Piping Hot.
The agency won the Bevilles business following a competitive pitch against an undisclosed list of agencies. The account was previously with CHE.
Smart will immediately handle Bevilles Christmas campaign, with the brand’s strategy set to be examined in greater depth in the New Year.
Piping Hot, a surf wear brand that emerged alongside Rip Curl in Torquay, Victoria in the 1970s, has also appointed Smart.
The brand has steadily grown over the past decade, despite minimal marketing activity.
“We are looking at a significant relaunch of Piping Hot, helping them to re-position and re-invigorate the brand,” said Ben Lilley, CEO of Smart.
“We’re currently in the planning and brand immersion stage but will kick off the activity in the New Year.
“These are both great wins for our Melbourne office. It’s an exciting time for us and after our Drinkwise and Betstar wins, we are making good, steady progress in the Melbourne market this year.”
