Buspak completes national network

APN Outdoor's Buspak has scored two wins in Melbourne and Adelaide following tender process in both cities.

In Melbourne it has picked up the Yarra Trams contract which gives Buspak transit media covering 475 trams and 1600 buses.

Meanwhile in Adelaide the Office of Public Transport in Adelaide has appointed Buspak as the preferred tenderer giving Buspak about 750 buses with a network that covers the entire metropolitan network of Adelaide.

APN Outdoor CEO Richard Herring said the Buspak wins in both cities meant APN’s national media coverage now included Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Tasmania.

"The Melbourne and Adelaide wins mean that advertisers requiring a national campaign can now communicate with consumers in the metropolitan area of every major capital city in Australia with one phone call to Buspak,” Herring said.

"Buspak's win provides a solid platform to build the transit media business over the next two years, particularly with the advent of the Commonwealth Games in 2006 in Melbourne.
