Independent start-up agency Banjo has hired high profile creatives Georgia Arnott and Jon Burden from The Campaign Palace.
The two will join the agency, backed by industry stalwart John Singleton, as creative partners in February to work alongside Andrew Varasdi and Ben Lyttle from Singleton Ogilvy and Mather (SOM).
“Finding the right creative partners was not something we wanted to rush into. We spent a lot of time meeting and working with some fantastic people, however, from the moment we met Georgia and Jon it was pretty clear that we all shared the same passion and enthusiasm for the position we want Banjo to own, Story Selling”, said managing partner Varasdi.
During their time at The Campaign Palace as creative directors the pair worked on bran such as Bonds, Sheridan, 3 and Marie Claire. Arnott has worked on clients including United Airlines, P&G, Time Magazine, Speedos, Guinness, Sony, Levis, Citi Bank and Lexus. She has been awarded at Award, One Show, Cannes and D&AD, including golds, silvers and bronzes, as well as 'Best of Show' at Caxtons. IN his career Burden has worked on Nike, Vodafone, EA Sports and Coca-Cola. He also created the global campaign starring David Beckham, Michael Schumacher to launch Vodafone 3G to the world.
