SBS gets eight live Euro 2008 games
SBS will broadcast eight live matches from the Euro 2008 football championships next year, including the opening game and final.
It will also produce a daily highlights programme, match replays and a “Road to Euro” preview series.
SBS Radio will broadcast matches in languages of the participating nations in addition to English.
Subscription channel Setanta Sports Australia, which is available on Foxte, will show the remaining matches live.
EURO 2008 will be co-hosted by Austria and Switzerland from 7 to 29
