ZenithOptimedia CEO Belinda Rowe is leaving the agency and the country after being promoted to managing partner worldwide at the agency's London office.
The promotion sees Rowe join the ZenithOptimedia’s global executive team, with responsibilities including managing worldwide client relationships.
Graeme Wills, Group Chairman of ZenithOptimedia, said Rowe has made a significant contribution to the business, its clients and the industry.
"Belinda and I have worked together for 21 years. We were one of the first to set up a separate media operation in Australia. Its success is well documented and it remains a powerful and creative contribution to the Publicis Mojo Group in Australia and New Zealand,” he said.
Despite her relocation, Rowe will retain her shareholding and involvement in the Australian company.
She said: “I am looking forward to developing client relationships globally and to work closely with the management team to optimise and establish business opportunities. Australia has always played a significant role globally and it will be great for the team and our clients to be more connected to worldwide trends.”
Meanwhile, Phil Talbot has assumed the role of chairman of Australasia, which he will add to his existing duties as regional CEO for APAC. In Australia and New Zealand he will work with a newly defined executive management team, with details of the key roles and responsibilities to be announced in the near future.
