Triad Communications has bagged the creative brief for Clorox Australia’s new Chux-branded product, as part of a two-way pitch.
The agency beat off competition from an undisclosed network group to win the account after presenting strategic and creative recommendations for the new launch.
Triad is expecting to be appointed as the brand agency for Clorox’s other home care brands, Handy Andy and Gumption as a result of this win.
Carolyn Butler-Madden, client services director at Triad said: “This win also reinforces that strong strategy and campaign ideas are no longer the exclusive domain of big above-the-line agencies. Talented people combined with quality development processes inevitably deliver good results.”
Marketing director of Clorox Australia, Martin Drinkrow, said: "The team at Triad did a great job - taking a clear, simple brief and combining it with a deep consumer insight to deliver a really powerful creative idea for the launch of our new Chux product.
“I've always believed that mixing good people with good processes on a foundation of solid relationships, is the key to success. The big idea that the Triad team have developed will take the Chux brand to new heights, and I look forward to seeing the results in the market place."
Exact details of the new Chux product and the value of the account were not disclosed.
