Ten gets grip on Britney’s reality Camille Alarcon
Network Ten has secured the broadcast rights to Britney Spears’ new reality TV program which is set to debut in the US later this month.
Britney and Kevin: Chaotic will screen on United Paramount Network from May 17 at 9pm and will feature six episodes of never-before-seen home videos tracking the beginning of Spears’ romance with her now husband Kevin Federline, through to their wedding.
A Ten spokesperson said the network was excited about securing a show that was so well suited to its target demographic, and planned to air the series very soon. However, no date, time slot or advertisers have yet been confirmed.
The addition of the new series will hope to be one of the powerhouse program to join Ten’s other reality TV success stories, Big Brother and Australian Idol, and push it back to its number one position among 16-39 year old viewers.
