Marketforce gets serious about media

Ad shop Marketforce is beefing up its management team with the appointment of Michael Mitchell to the newly created role of director of media.

Mitchell, who previously worked as the general manager of Channel Nine Perth before it was acquired by WIN Corporation, will join the Perth-based agency and its board in February next year.

John Driscoll chairman at Marketforce said: "The appointment of Mitchell at Marketforce is a significant move that sends a clear signal to the marketplace of our commitment to media as an integral part of our product offering.”

Mitchell added: "I have worked with Marketforce as a client for over 20 years during which time I have developed some great friendships within the agency as well as a great respect for Marketforce's business ethics and philosophy.”
