Nickelodeon partners Billabong

Nickelodeon Australia has signed a multi-year partnership with Billabong Australasia that will involve collaboration across events, promotions, online, on-air activity, marketing and production.

Nickelodeon Australia chief operating officer Leisa Sadler said the fashion brand and Nickelodeon were a strong fit because with their appeal to the youth market.

“Billabong and Nickelodeon are brands that both have a truly unique place in the lives of the Australian youth,” Sadler said.

“Through Nickelodeon’s creative, production and marketing activities and Billabong’s expertise as Australia’s leading clothing and lifestyle company, we will develop properties that will resonate with the young people of Australia.”

The partnership has already included Nickelodeon’s involvement in the events such as the Billabong Occy’s Grom Comp, held recently on the Gold Coast.

The relationship will be leveraged over the coming months through the Nickelodeon Australia Kids Choice Awards in Sydney in September.
