 MEDIA PLANNING & BUYING
ZenithOptimedia comes bottom of the class
Camille Alarcon

A report card on the 2006 performance of media agencies in Australia has seen Zenith-Optimedia receive a 'C' rating, according to Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry's (RECMA) figures revealed exclusively to B&T.

Universal McCann and OMD came top of the list, both awarded A+, followed by MediaCom, which received an A.

In RECMA's first Australia-only report, it has crossed competitiveness in pitches with market share in buying billings to come up with an A, B or C grade. Most agencies fell into the mid-range mark, with Mitchell & Partners, Starcom, MindShare, Mediaedge:cia, Carat, Total Advertising and Ikon each receiving a B+.
