Vizeum Sydney wins BPI business

Vizeum Sydney has picked up the media business for international fragrance house Beauté Prestige International (BPI), following a global review.

The Aegis Media-owned agency was appointed alongside other agencies in the Aegis network globally, after going head-to-head with MPG, Zenith Optimedia and Mindshare.

The account involves the international development and roll-out of media strategy across BPI’s brands including Jean-Paul Gaultier, Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguezm in 40 countries, with Vizeum Sydney tasked with overseeing Australian activity.

The global budget for the business is estimated at $94.6m.

Kim Raicevich, managing director of Vizeum Sydney, said: “We’re excited at having such a prestigious range of brands added to our growing portfolio and we’re looking forward to creating innovative media opportunities for the brands.”

The win follows a string of new business for Vizuem, with Melbourne-based agency Frank Vizeum picking up the social media strategy business for carsales.com.au and STA Travel over the past few weeks.
