 PRESS RELEASE
Suncorp signage lights up the Sydney skyline

Coinciding with their 10th Anniversary, 150 metres above the street on four sides of a Sydney high-rise building, one of Queensland’s and nowadays Australia’s most recognisable brands now shines - Suncorp.

The new Suncorp Place at 18 Jamison Street, Sydney has been a corporate head office of a number of national companies, since its completion in 1982. Originally the building was commissioned by Qantas International to house their headquarters. More recently the building housed the corporate offices of AAPT communications.

The original branding on the building consisted of the Qantas livery. In 1994 this was changed to AAP and in 1999 after a re-branding of AAPT. The current re-branding of the building will be enjoyed by Suncorp.

The New Brand consists of four x two story high exposed neon logos which are easily read from across the harbour. This is the first neon sky sign

“Being a major landmark on the Sydney skyline, our endeavour is to ensure that our client, Suncorp can enjoy the greatest exposure of their national brand, while at the same time ensuring that the signs are aesthetically appealing and compliment the vast array of aerial signage on the Sydney skyline,” Dan McHugh, Branded Asset Manager of Signmanager says.
