Euro RSCG Asia Pacific has promoted Matthew Fanshawe to the newly created role of CEO, South-East Asia.
In his new role Fanshawe will be overseeing operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, focusing on growing the agencies’ business and promoting Euro RSCG’s digital focus. During his seven years with the agency in Asia, Fanshawe has run the regional Intel account, served as the managing director in Singapore and most recently as Euro RSCG’s CEO of Singapore and Malaysia.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is to launch a review of the three commercial radio standards introduced by the Australian Broadcasting Authority in 2000, following the ‘Cash for Comment' inquiry. The review will focus on current affairs programs, including talkback, “to ensure that providers of commercial radio broadcasting services remain responsive to the need to treat advertising and other sponsored content in a way that does not lead listeners to believe that it is editorial comment, free from commercial influence”.
Men’s fashion and design title Intersection magazine, published by Walrus Media, is holding a exhibition of car covers at an event at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney. The collection comprises designs fashion labels including Sydney-based Ksubi, Maison Martin Margiela of Paris, Berlin-based Bless, New York's Adam Kimmel, Richard James of London and Tokyo-based Visvim.
