Apple’s Gaffe Gives Major Hint On New iPhone Launch

The launch date of the newest iPhone has likely been revealed, after eagle-eyed Apple fanatics spotted a major clue.

Apple holds a major event every September to reveal the latest iPhones, but has so far been secretive about this year’s proceedings.

However, Apple accidentally published a livestream last week titled ‘TEST’ with a September 10 start date.

This is the same date the iPhone 11 launched in 2019.

Although Apple quickly pulled the stream, it didn’t take long for pundits to start pencilling in September 10 as the unveiling date for the new iPhone (or iPhones).

The new iPhone is a major source of speculation each year, but with COVID-19 creating a a state of uncertainty, the 2020 launch is shaping up to be the most mysterious to date.

Even if the new device is unveiled next month, it will not arrive in stores for a few more weeks.

“This year the supply of the new product will be a few weeks later,” Apple’s senior vice president and chief financial officer Luca Maestri confirmed in July.
