Weekly Ad Round-Up: A Different Christmas Window, 90s Crystal Pepsi & Zombie Singing Roadkill

Weekly Ad Round-Up: A Different Christmas Window, 90s Crystal Pepsi & Zombie Singing Roadkill

Check it out people, it’s the best ads of the week: a PSA with singing zombie animals, an ad about domestic violence over Christmas and a flashback to the 90s with Crystal Pepsi.

Zombie singing roadkill:

A musical PSA reminding drivers to not be a “killer car” by advertising agency Grey New York, animal welfare organisation The Humane Society and automotive parts manufacturer Bosch North America. Plus singing zombie animals.

A window into domestic violence:

For some people it doesn’t feel like Christmas until Christmas displays start popping up across the shops. Two charities, the Ontario Association of Interval & Transition Houses and the Yellow Brick House, have partnered to create The Window Project to bring awareness to the fact that domestic violence spikes during the Christmas season.

“The holidays can be a confusing time for women in abusive relationships, especially when there are children involved,” said Charlene Catchpole, chair of the OAITH board of directors. “Many women put on a good face and project an image of stability to keep the holidays a happy time. Our hope is that this campaign will break the lingering culture of silence that exists around violence against women.”

Crystal Pepsi

Pepsi is reviving the Crystal Pepsi for a limited time- for those unaware Crystal Pepsi was a clear soft drink from the 1990s which was popular for about a second in the States. Pepsi is giving some “lucky winners” the chance to win a limited edition six pack of Crystal Pepsi through the soft drink company’s loyalty program app.

Tune in next week for ads that makes us go hmmmmm
